The tragedy in Afganistan. A USA army defeat.

Many of us talk these days about what is happening in Afghanistan, how a people can reach such a level of despair in the face of a threat, not only to their state of life, to their life itself.

What happens in the Asian country is a reminder of how disgusting and rotten politics is and that, for the great world powers, people's lives mean little. This country has been unhappy, as for thousands of years, being in the ring where empires want to show their superiority.

What the United States is doing today is only recognizing a mistake they had made, the desire for recognition on the part of former President Bush put the area on edge. After the attacks on the twin towers, Osama Bin Laden was blamed as the mastermind and his group Al Qaeda as a dangerous terrorist group. It is when they are linked to the extremist group that controlled Afghanistan; The Taliban, which begins the martyrdom for this area accustomed to conflict.

But why do I consider what the Yankees did in that area a tragedy and a great mistake? They are already used to suffering. Sadly, when religions are taken to the degree of extremism, the total value of human life is taken away in order to exalt the power of God, then beliefs begin to mix with politics, which leads to denigrate human rights.

The tragedy for Afghanistan is that a foreign country came to invade them, but to convince them it made use of a public relations ruse where it made them see the benefits of democracy of which they have been convinced are world spokesmen. This in the backyard of states impregnated by authoritarianism, which is the case of China, Russia and Iran. The betrayal of Afghanistan is that they were convinced to lead a life that they are sadly losing today, there is a new generation of boys and girls who grew up with freedoms and thoughts far removed from what their new reality will now be, they lived in a mirage, in a sleep.

That is the mistake of the United States and its allied countries, believing that they can change the world when it is clear that they cannot even with one of the poorest regions of central Asia, they fight with a group accustomed to war, with an orography that they know from head to toe and sadly couldn't beat them. Today it is time to recognize his mistake, he must leave a country that does not have the capacity to continue maintaining it, but as at the beginning, his departure is made with his legs, with the same mediocre planning. It is a mistake almost as big as Bush's, not to foresee that what took them 20 years to advance, in a weekend the Taliban will take up again. That is not a mediocre action?

They certainly blame the Afghans for not fighting for their new lifestyle, but they forget that they are the ones who put them at this crossroads. Millions of inhabitants then return to a life of misery, fear, harassment and without freedom.

I have not had to see many events in which the interventionism of the tottering first world power falls, but this is the loudest due to its uselessness, for wasting resources, soldiers' lives and more than anything 20 years in a cause that today is weeks away. lost.

There will be time to analyze what follows, meanwhile, the United States suffers a defeat, China and Russia remove their dangerous enemy from their backyard without even firing a shot and the region plunges back into chaos and oppression, where women are the big losers. Let's see how it is explained to the girls and young women who lived a dream, a fantasy fed by the ego of a country accustomed to sticking their noses in the world and in most cases, leaving them worse than they were, silently they is coloring the situation with nuances of humanitarian crisis.

China and Russia now have the chance to show that they can help their neighbors, not because they are charitable souls, but rather because we all want neighbors where there is no death, strife and instability.
